Dr. Emily Franklin
Dr. Emily Franklin is licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine by the New Mexico Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. She received her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM.
Dr. Emily has been treating patients since 1996, and has done extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, migraines, menopause, seasonal allergies, natural diabetes treatment, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
Dr. Emily’s love of people and community infuses her work as a health care practitioner. Her style is gentle, nurturing, dynamic, and interactive. Integrating her knowledge of Eastern and Western medicine, she gives focused, quality attention to each and every patient, working hard to alleviate their immediate complaints as well as improve their overall health, vitality, and quality of life for the long term.
